For Gardeners, non gardeners, enthusiasts or anyone on NYP with an interest in the conservation, propagation, planting and promotion of Australian plants.
The garden and nursery is located at Lot 1866 South Tce Kadina and is run by volunteer group members. Australian plants are propagated for sale at our annual sale in May and direct from the nursery from March through to September.
The garden and nursery is open every Thursday 10 am till 12.
Working bees are held at the nursery and garden every Thursday 10 till 12.
Meetings with guest speakers are held monthly. Field trips to areas of interest are planned throughout the year, either as day trips or overnight weekend stays.
Public/new members are always welcome!
Tonight’s twilight sale was well attended by customers from the local area in spite of the heat. Our monthly meeting followed the saleon with Jeff Reid from The COOTS group as our guest speaker. He outlined the strategy he has successfully employed to increase COOTS group membership and attract a younger age group to the Society.

Garden no 2 is a large informal garden with a country feel, loosely structured with unmade paths, mounds and a mixture of new and pre-existing trees.
